| HAROLD OSHER It's with a heavy heart that we let you know of the passing of longtime player Harold Osher on October 16th, 2019 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Judy Sternberg Osher. Dear brother of Erwin (Rebecca L.) Osher and the late Jack S. Osher. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Harold played at many venues around the Detroit area including the outdoor courts of Southfield, St. Clair Shores, Belle Isle. He also played 4 wall at the Coliseum, Rose Shores and others. |
Handball enthusiast ROBERT W. HELMS died suddenly on July 26, 2019 at the age of 73. Father of Catherine (Daniel) Dietiker and Kevin (Sara). Grandfather of Sydney and Nicholas. Brother of Richard Helms. Dear Friend of Martha Louisell. Bob attended Albion College for two years, but received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. He went to get his MBA from the University of Detroit. He joined the Army Reserves shortly after college. He worked at Michigan National Bank and Harper Grace Hospital as a programmer. In later years, he worked in various areas of interest. He also a enjoyed tennis and golf.
